Using profiles, messages, blocking, and reports

Set up your public profile, message other builders, and use blocking or reporting tools when community content needs attention.

Step by step

  1. Open your profile from the community feed or account settings.
  2. Add a username, avatar, bio, and social links so other builders know who owns the published build.
  3. From another builder profile or published build, use Message to start a direct conversation.
  4. If you no longer want to see someone, block the user. Their posts, builds, and conversations are hidden from your view.
  5. Use Report on posts, builds, or messages that need review. Include a clear reason so support can evaluate it.

Keep your profile useful

Your profile is tied to your published builds, messages, follows, and community activity. A clear username and current avatar make your build easier to recognize when it appears in the feed or a Build Battle.

Community safety tools

Blocking is for your own view of the community. Reporting sends the content to BuildSheet for review. Use reports for spam, harassment, impersonation, unsafe content, or anything that should not stay visible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can other users edit my profile?

No. Profile editing is owner-only. Other users can view public profile details, follow, or message you if they are signed in.

What happens when I block someone?

Blocking hides that user from your feed and conversations. You can still report content when it needs BuildSheet review.
