Anyone can now view your build, no account needed
Shared build links now open a quick view for everyone, including people who do not have BuildSheet. They see your photos, vehicle, horsepower, total invested, part count, description, and your first 10 parts, in the same layout as the app. Seeing every part, liking, following, commenting, and messaging still require an account, and anyone who signs up from your link lands right on your build. NFC stickers and plate covers for your build
BuildSheet now supports NFC stickers and plate covers. Tap one with a phone and it opens your build, no app or account required. Claim a tag from Settings → NFC Tags, choose whether it is a sticker or a plate cover, and pick which build it shows. Each tag can hide your prices, be switched to a different build, be turned off, or be released when you sell the car, and it shows how many times it has been scanned. Use Copy link to share the same page anywhere. Available on the web now and in the next app update. Set up your tag.
Horsepower, shared links, and website sign-in fixes
Your published build's horsepower now updates automatically when you change it on your vehicle, so a new tune shows up without republishing. Shared build links now open reliably even when the build is not near the top of the community feed. Signing in with Apple or Google on the website now keeps you on the website instead of trying to open the app.
Community feed vehicle filters match correctly
Filtering the community feed by make and model now matches the builds you expect, so narrowing Discover to a specific platform no longer drops or mixes in the wrong cars.
Password reset links and profile builds
Password reset emails now take you straight to a screen where you set a new password. Expired or already-used links show a clear message so you can request a new one. Profile pages also load a builder's published builds more reliably.
Sign-up now requires a regular email provider
To keep spam accounts out of the community, email sign-up now accepts regular inbox providers such as Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, Proton, and Fastmail. Temporary and disposable addresses are blocked. Signing in with Apple or Google is unaffected, and existing accounts are not changed.
Faster vehicle switching and a per-vehicle Get Started checklist
Switching vehicles is now instant and never briefly shows the previous car's mods, maintenance, wishlist, photos, build plan, or spend while the new one loads. The dashboard Get Started checklist is now tracked per vehicle, can be dismissed for one car without hiding it on others, and its Share your build step opens the publish flow directly.
Copy a ready-to-post listing from your build sheet
The Build Sheet share menu now includes Copy Text, a quick way to turn your vehicle, mileage, mods, and maintenance history into one clean text summary. It is built for sale posts, Marketplace descriptions, forum threads, or anywhere you want to paste a concise record of what has been done to the car.
Faster mobile mod logging with product links, images, and cleaner cards
The mobile Mods page has been rebuilt around the most common workflow: scan a receipt, paste a product link, or add a mod manually. Product links can now pull the part name, vendor, price, and product image into the form, while linked mods show a richer card with the part photo, vendor, and price. The add/edit sheet also has a native calendar picker, saved mod-card images, and a clearer delete confirmation.
Free AI limits now behave more predictably
Free users get one successful AI build plan generation and one AI receipt scan. After that, trying to generate another AI plan or choosing a scan source opens the Pro paywall immediately. If an AI request fails, it should not burn the free use; saving an already-generated plan to the garage is still allowed.
Profiles, messaging, blocking, and reports are easier to use
Community profiles now support richer owner editing and clearer message actions. Builders can start conversations from profile pages, messages show account identity more clearly, and community safety tools now include blocking and reporting so bad content can be reviewed instead of lingering in the feed.
AI build plans now use guide-backed parts and better vehicle context
The AI Build Planner has been tightened with guide-backed recommendations, make-specific fallbacks, verified product metadata, and stored horsepower where available. The result is a more realistic mod path with better part links, product images, and price context for supported platforms.
Community feed, Build Battles, and published builds got a reliability pass
The community side of BuildSheet received a large cleanup across published builds, feed interactions, Build Battles, messaging, and local fallback storage. These changes are aimed at keeping likes, follows, build updates, and published build details consistent across sessions and devices.
Download My Data is now available in settings
Account settings now include a self-service Download My Data flow. It packages your BuildSheet account data, including vehicles, expenses, build plans, maintenance, photos metadata, published builds, support history, and related account activity, so you can keep a copy outside the app.
Mobile planned mods are easier to scan and manage
The planned-mods view on mobile was redesigned so build-plan recommendations are easier to read, compare, and act on from a phone. The planner flow also received tighter wording, clearer budget handling, and better fallback behavior when AI recommendations need manual review.
Native sign-in and session persistence were hardened
Several native auth issues were fixed, including OAuth callback handling, app-kill session persistence, onboarding handoff, and Supabase auth storage fallbacks. The goal is simple: once you sign in on iOS or Android, BuildSheet should stay signed in and recover cleanly after the app is closed.
Signup, onboarding, and native sync flows were cleaned up
The welcome and onboarding flows were refactored for better mobile behavior, clearer account setup, and stronger native sync paths. Receipt scanning, AI recommendations, and auth redirects were also tightened during this pass so first-run setup is less fragile.
